At Rapid Way Transportes we are aware of the importance of caring for and respecting the environment.

Aware that road transport is an activity that, although necessary, is intrinsically polluting, both the management and all workers of the rapid Group are proactively committed to improving control procedures and techniques to avoid or reduce all our polluting processes.

Thus, it is worth mentioning, among other actions:

Strict compliance with legislation

Particularly in everything related to waste disposal and recycling: used oils, batteries, plastics and tires. Before it was mandatory, we already had agreements with companies certified in waste recycling.

Pollution reduction

Commitment to the continuous modernization of the fleet, both to increase consumption efficiency and to reduce pollution. Currently, part of the fleet is made up of hybrid and electric vehicles, making our fleet more efficient, clean and respectful of the environment.

Digitalization and paperless office commitment

Transport is traditionally an activity that requires a lot of documentation, loading orders, CRM, delivery notes and all of them always on paper. Some of the initiatives adopted by our company in this field are:

Sending loading orders and electronic CRM to both our own drivers and subcontracted drivers.
Sending activity certificates and others in electronic format to mobile phones.
Sending payroll to drivers’ private channels in digital media with electronic signature.
Sending a digital invoice along with scanned delivery notes whenever the client accepts it.
Recycling of paper produced in the company.
Introduction of the paperless program (digital documentation system) with an 80% reduction in documentation generated on paper.
